The Sainte-Thérèse church is one the most beautiful churches of the interwar period of the Lille Metropolis. It was built by the architect Charles Bourgeois, coming from Tourcoing, between 1927 and 1929. Its architecture is both traditional in outlines, but modern with its Art Deco style decorative elements.

These last ones (ceramic, mosaics, molded sculptures, stained-glass windows and furnitures constitute a unique and homogeneous and original ensemble. The symbolism of saint-Thérèse is very widely declined there.
